Motorcycle Repair: 74 Honda CB 200 condenser?, honda cb 200, voltage meter

Chris,
My coil has tested good and I'm getting power to the starter/lights but no spark. Would my condenser be a possible problem and is there a way to test it?  I have a voltage meter and get a reading everywhere except the input to the coil.

Hi Rick.

There are test proceedures for the ignition system and it's components in the repair manual.  You could try just replacing the condensor with a known good one and see what happens and you should check the system for shorts as well.
