Motorcycle Repair: 71 electra glide oil leak, oil leaks, breather valve

Question
Hi Mike. Oil leaks out of the breather all the time. Some one installed the breather in front of the front head, above the valve cover. When you rev up it slobbers out oil a bit more than when it is idling. I pulled the oil pump off to clean , this was doing this when customer brought it here. I cleaned anti - siphon ball valve and the pressure relief plunger. Any ideas. Thanks

Answer
You need to move the breather hose below the bike. WHen running the air coming out has some mist of oil going with it. Having the hose high like that lets oil build up in the hose.
The only other thing would be he breather valve is out of time, but that would only happen if it were taken out and not put back with
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
