Motorcycle Repair: strange starting problem, starter relay, starter system

Question
I have a 1989 FXSTS.
While on a ride on I-15 near Las Vagas I hit one hell of a bump, {actually three in a row} landed hard, but did not go down.
After that everytime I touch a brake, front or rear, the starter engages.
I have checked every wire, replaced the brake light switches, even replaced the starter relay.
Nothing seems to cure the problem, any ideas ?

If you touch the brake and the starter ingages then you have a wire from the brake system shorting to the starter system. You are going to have to start tracing wires to find the problem. I would probaby say its in a plug in. Elimate wires by unpluging them and trying the brakes until you find it
