Motorcycle Repair: 2006 FXDI, hub motor, forward controls

PUTTING FORWARD CONTROLS ON MY NEW 2006 FXDI THE BRAKE SIDE WENT ON EASY AND ON THE TRANY SIDE I HAVE TO REMOVE THE INNER AND OUTTER PRIMARY TO AXCESS THE SHIFER LEVER. IS THIS GOING TO BE A BIG JOB.


Answer
It should take you about 2.5 hours to do the job. you have to remove the outer primary, clutch hub, motor sprocket, inner primary, starter and starter drive to do the work.
It would be best if you got a service manual and it will tell you how to do the job.
