Motorcycle Repair: Battery dies out, kawasaki ninja zx, shively

Hi, I have a 1993 kawasaki ninja zx-7 it is my first bike it looks good and runs great just that if i leave the battery connected it dies out in about a 1/2 hour or so, so im always disconnecting it when i park it for awhile. there are no lights staying on, what can be causing this. for a temporary fix can i hook up a toggle switch to the (-) wire from the battery so i can switch off the battery instead of disconnecting the wire everytime

Hi Richie,

You or someone else will have to search for the current draw or leak. Use a multimeter and start investigating where the current is flowing (leaking).
