Motorcycle Repair: Hayabusa Overheating, minute time period, defective component

Question
Mark, I was riding very fast, and pushing my busa very, very hard, trying to get to work on time! This occurred over a 40 minute time period. When I pulled into the garage to park, my antifreeze was boiling in the reserve bottle, and spilling from underneath the bike. This only occurred once I parked. The temperature gauges never showed a significant temp increase. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Jarad,

I suspect the coolant overheated because air is in the system. Has the cooling system been serviced by any means?

My second though is the thermostat or water pump are defective and preventing coolant from circulating.

The cooling system components will need to be tested to find the defective component. Testing includes electrical components in the system.

Get a copy of the service manual and follow testing procedures. Repair or replace components accordingly.
