Motorcycle Repair: starter removal 93 fatboy, clutch basket, starter removal

do you have to remove the oil tank to get the starter out and if you don't mind what else do you have to remove first,thanks Barry

Its a tight fit, but you can get it out. You will have to remove the primary cover, clutch basket and motor sprocket. Behind the clutch basket you will have to remove the jackshaft. Then you can remove the starter bolts and the starter
