Motorcycle Repair: fork seal replacment, jap bikes, fork seals

 looking for brief explanation of how to replace fork seals on above listed harley.i have done them many times on jap bikes but never on a hd.the bike actually belongs to friend of mine.any help would be deeply appreciated

they are pretty much the same as the jap bikes. Remove the wheel and fender. remove the bolt which is located inside from the bottom of the fork. remove the dust cover and you will se under it a clip. remove it. Slide the fork downward and it will slide apart. remove the seal and install the new one. Then just put it back together
