Motorcycle Repair: Top-End how to 83 kawasaki 750, borders bookstore, kawasaki 750

  I searched previous answers from this page regarding my bikes' problem and discovered what it needs is a top-end rebuild. My question is where can I get a description/how to for each of the steps in this process? You see the local dealer only works on bikes 10 yrs old and newer so I gota do this myself. I can get all the parts but what is "honing the cylinders" etc.? Is there a an instructional publication I can buy and read to teach myself? Do I need to take a class? Thnaks.

Hi Bill.

There is a number of publications that you can get.  Look in the local Borders bookstore for books on motorcycle repair.  They will be very general, but you should order the repair manual for your bike.  That will have all of the info that you need for almost all of the things that you will be doing.
