Motorcycle Repair: gearcase, stroke motorcycle, viscosity oil

Question
I just bought an old 1986 Suzuki TS250X two stroke motorcycle. Can you tell me what oil I should use to gearcase ? What signature ? I have new press springs and coupling discs. Coupling still slide.( I try adjust this or if I tighten coupling I can t change the gear or I can t change on neutral gear when I stop. I can make only two options. Coupling slide or gear can be on. It not posible to adjust this on a center.) Thanks. Sorry for my English

Answer
Hi Marcin,

Use 10W30 or 10W40 oil depending upon your climate.

Read the oil container labels to learn which viscosity oil is designed for the temperatures of your living environment.

I cannot help you with the mechanical problem. Try this free on line motorcycle repair course:
