Motorcycle Repair: 2005 big twin clutch, clutch adjustment, clutch lever

Please tell me the proper clutch adjustment procedure for a 2005 88 cu.in. softail deluxe,no problems now just want to keep it that way.  thanks, Mark

Follow the cable until you find the adjuster. It will be located under a rubber cover. Loosen the locknut. Now turn the cable to either lengthen or shorten. what you are looking for is about 1/8 inch freeplay in the clutch lever. Tighten the locknut and put the cover back on and your set to go.
