i just bought a 58 ironhead and i was wondering what the fuel mix should be set on for this bike if it has a super e s&s carb. ?

There is no set point. What you want to do is start the bike and let it warm up. Now slowly turn the screw inward just untilt he bike starts to stumble. Now turn it outward, counting the turns, until it starts to stumble. Take the number of turns and divide it inhalf and turn it out that many turns. Now you have it set.
