Motorcycle Repair: cl125A, bill silver, prime condition

Question
I just found a Cl125A Scrambler from 1968 in my Parent's shop.  It needs a lot of work, and I was wondering if this bike is worth fixing up?  How does it perform? And are the parts hard to come by?  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Zac... "needs a lot of work" would cause me to wonder just how much that is!?!

Bikes were slow sellers back in the mid-late 1960s. Top speed about 65-70 in prime condition. Engine was a copy of the early 1960s 125-150 twins, but none of the parts will interchange. Parts are scarce and expensive when you can find them. Mufflers rotted off, seats crumbled, the single carb engine didn't have a lot of power and the carb didn't run right if the air filter parts weren't all in the right place.

A prime condition example may fetch $1500, but it would cost that and more just to get one into that kind of condition. Unless you can find another parts bike or two, for cheap, it may not be worth your effort and $$$ to try to revive this machine, unless you just want to ride it around the backyard for awhile.
