Hi Falcon,
I had the airbox off last night and there was what fuel in there and the carbs was covered as well.

Think I may have to get them checked and reset.

Hi Chris,
I have a 98 GSXR6 - when I try and rev the bike above 3-4k it cuts out.
I have left the bike ticking over to warm up and this has made no difference at all.

I have an optimiser fitted and sometimes the battery seems a little weak could this have something to do with it?

Hi Andy.

It is very possible that the optimiser has an effect on it, but what else has the bike been through?  Are the carbs synchronized?  Are they clean?

Also check the charging system if the battery is becoming an issue.

Start with those and let me know what you find.

There is the possibility that the air filter was badly clogged  since the airbox was flooded with fuel.

Do check and reset the carbs as they could also have issues that you may not have previously noticed.
