hi, i have a 99 Ultra Classic EFI that upon full deceleration back fires through the exhaust, also when i hold it around 2000 rpm it pops back through the intake. The only change is the slash cut mufflers with baffles in. I checked for leaks at the     exhaust and intake and there doesn't appear to be any. Other than this the bike runs fine, any suggestions? Thanx.  Norm

Is this somthing that just started or started after changing the exhaust? Also, how did you check for a intake leak?
Mike
The pipes where on the bike when i got it and it had this problem. I used a flamable aresol spray and ran the bike while i sprayed all around the intake manifold and injectors, no change. I am thinking of trying one of the after market fuel controlers? Thanx.  Norm

Answer
Probably what is happening is the previous owner changed the pipes and didnt have the EFI flashed or if it was, it was flashed wrong.
What you need to do is go to a shop that can reflash the EFI. You are probably running in a lean condition which will cause this.
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
