Motorcycle Repair: 2000 fatboy carb. other than..., oil filters, fatboy

2000 fatboy carb. other than "harley" brand, is there safe, less expensive oils & oil filters avail. for my fat boy? i use harley reg. 20-50.

There are lots of aftermarket oil filters that work as well as a harley and cost less. Check at some non dealer shops.
As tot he oil, as long as the oil has the lable SAE and is 20-50 they all meet the same standards, so you can use other other oil.
