Motorcycle Repair: no spark, 2001 honda cbr600f4i, kill switch

i have a 2001 honda cbr600f4i and i cant get a spark to go to the spark plugs. what is the problem, i tried testing it by putting the plug against the frame and trying to start it but nothing.

Hi Mikee.

 Have you checked the ignition fuse?

 Check for shorts in the ignition circuit?

 Check the ignition kill switch in the handlebars.  Make sure that it is working correctly and that the contacts are not dirty.

Start with that and let me know what you find.
