Motorcycle Repair: 2005 Suz Burg 650 CVT wont shift up, motorcycle usa, www motorcycle

2hr hwy last trip no problems 3000kms on bike.Started bike,usual warmup,drove away and trans stayed in 1st gear.Using manual shifter causes 1st to flash 3 times but will continue in 1st. If it helps, the 40A CVT fuse isn't blown but doesn't seem to have voltage on either side. The bike had its 1000km service and has had monthly 2hr runs over the winter and engine hasn't been pushed over 6000rpm. Manual gear selection is only used on the hiway, over 110kms as this keeps the trans in OD when RPM is up. Any guidance on where to look would be appreciated.

I don't have any experience with the scooter. None has come through my shop to date.

I suspect an electrical problem, but cannot say for certain without investigating.
