Motorcycle Repair: atv problems, honda tech, 5th gear

hello,
i have a 1998 honda forman 4x4 400 it is stuck in 5th gear, the gear selector will move a little and spring back up. help what can i do. thanks, my son been riding all day when this happen. thanks very much.  again you can email me at robertealey@yahoo.com

Hi Robert,

I need to inspect the ATV to diagnose the problem. I recommend having a local Honda tech inspect the problem for you.

Consider having them give you an estimate of repairs. They'll tell you what the problems are (if any). You can take it and fix it yourself, or have them complete repairs.

Estimates generally cost about one hours time at the shop's hourly flat-rate.
