Question
ok let me make sure i got this straight, i need to use the 600s harness...but still use the 250's? i figured its still a 12 volt sys, just didnt know if the 600's coils would hook in to replace the 250's, it would be more difficult but i could make a "bastard" harness from both, well i mean i had obviously planned to move the coils for the 2 extra cylendars i was just kinda hoping the feed wires would just clip to the 600's as they are only a year apart 250's an 88, 600's 89
oh well, just means i have some research to do to make this work, its gonna be killer when its done...people see 250...but hear 600 >=)
kinda a bit of a sleeper hehehehe just as long as i can do the custom fairing so people dont notice 4 pipes instead of 2 =)
AnswerUse the 600's wiring harness. You may need to add or remove some wires to run the new harness to the existing light connectors, etc...
The ignition will be intact. Just have to find a location to mount or tuck-away coils, etc..
It'll be a sandbagger.
