Motorcycle Repair: suzuki rear brake pedal, suzuki bandit 600, bolt assembly

I am trying to replace the rear brake pedal on a 2003 suzuki Bandit 600.  I got all the screw out except the one olding the foot peg.  A large hex wrench fits i, but will not turn NO mattter what.

Hi Scott.

The rear footpegs on bikes are usually held on with a nut and bolt assembly that requires a wrench on both the nut and bolt.  

It should turn with a bit of effort, but if it is rusted a bit, then perhaps a bit of "break-free" or other rust solvant/lubricant is in order.
 Apply some to the bolt and leave it for a little while then try again.  It should break free.

 It could also be that there is a locking pin in place preventing the bolt from turning as well.  Check for one.
