Motorcycle Repair: Engine swapping, gpz 1100, clutch cable

Question
I have a 1981 gpz 1100 kawasaki. I would like to know if I can put another motor on it. I was thinking of something like the 1989 zx10,zx9 or even a zx750 any type of motor with a better clutch .Cable clutch is not good. The reson I like a nother motor is that I have problems with over heating missing grears.I have have the gears stright cut serval new clutchs changed over to carberaters from fuel injetions.I just to know if i can put a hole newer motor on to this fram. Please anything

Answer
Hi Stewart,

I'm sure you could fabricate brackets and modify the frame to work with other engines. Depends upon your experience, knowledge, and tools.

I don't have much experience with engine swapping. It's not something my shop performs, normally.
