harley 1997 the brake light stay on

There are a few things to check. First check to make sure the two piece section on the right handle bar is pushed together. One is the part with the buttons and the other is the part with the brake handle. When you push them together there is a button that is pushed in to shut off the brake light.
Next check the rear brake switch. It might be stuck.
Finally, check the switch on the front master cylinder, it might be stuck
