Hi m

I would like to know what the firing order for the bandit GSF400 is...starting from left to right across the block?

I'd greatly appreciate the help...

PS This motor has stood closed, for two years...
She has started and reved-up already.
Any tips?
Answer -
Hi Roach,

My name is Mark.

The firing order is 1-2-4-3

Cylinders are numbered 1-2-3-4 from left to right when seated forwards on the MC.

Reference the question about any tips, are there any problems? If so, describe them in detail. The more intel you provide the better your answer will be.

BTW... include your email address with questions as requested in my instructions. I return tech files by email.

Hi "R" (just messing with ya)

I use a tool manufactured by the "MityVac" company called the Air-Evac tool.

See the tool here:

Other tools are out there, though this is the one that impressed me. The price of the tool ranges from $90 to $130.

Some local auto parts stores have tools for purging the air from your cooling system. These tools may or may not have adaptors to fit small MC radiator openings.

It's great that you're looking into the matter. Most peopel and some techs don't even know about purging air from the cooling system. Good looking out!
