Motorcycle Repair: 1984 yamaha virago 750 starter gear assembly, yamaha virago 750, motorcycle dealership

     I Recently purchased a 84 Yamaha Virago 750 from a used motorcycle dealership. He was in the middle of putting a new starter and starter gear assembly on  it so i got it cheap. The starter gears he gave me were assembled and needed to be put on with a new flywheel, I did this but now when I cranj it over the gears make a little noise. I would appreciate any websites you could give me that would show me if I have the gears and o-rings assembled correctly.

I don't know of any websites that show that information, but if you order the repair manual from the dealership, all of that and more will be in it and that will show you everything and more about your bike.
