Motorcycle Repair: Oil Capacity/weight, yamaha xs400, yamaha motor

Hey I just bought a 1980 Yamaha XS400 and like when I buy anything new I want to change the oil.  The bike didn't come with an owners/repair manual so I don't know how much oil or the weight of the oil.  If you have this info it would be of great help.  Thanks in advance.

You can purchase a Owner's Manual from Yamaha:

However, I recommend buying the Service Manual instead. Find service manuals on eBay and other online resources.
