2004 GL1800 will not start - battery problem. Where is it and how do I get to it to take it out? Need to have it charged.

Hi Duane.

Unless they have changed the location of the battery since the beginning of the Goldwing series, then the battery is located under the seat.

But before you go replacing the battery, have you checked the charging system?  If the battery is less than 2 years old, then that is likely to be the problem.  Once you get the battery charged, then start the bike and see what the bike is charging at.  It should be charging at 14+ volts, DC, measured at the battery terminals.
