Motorcycle Repair: Pulse Generator, honda shadow vt1100, bike bandit

I have a 1993 Honda Shadow VT1100 and I need to find a pulse generator. Honda does not make this part for my bike. I have tried looking on the internet and asking around but no one seems to know. I just moved to central Florida. can you help.
