Motorcycle Repair: Problems with Hoda XR400R, exhaust pipes, kickstarter

Hello Chris..
Recently i've had problems with oil overfilling in my bike and since then all sorts of problems came out.
I'm experiencing overheating in the exhaust pipes and the bike suddenly stalls and looses power.
Other thing is that i cant start the bike with the kickstarter, before this it was ..one kick and ready to go...
I would appretiate if you can help me in any way...

Hi Jesus.

First of all, who overfilled the bike with oil?  If it was a shop, then get a new shop for your bike.  It seems that the oil issue is related to your problem because it is interfereingwith the operation of the engine.  It is likely blown into the air filter as well.  Check it.  After replaceing the oil, change the air filter if it is dirty.  You may need to spend some time cleaning the extra oil out of the airbox as well.

If it was you who overfilled it, then drain the oil and refill it with the correct amount of oil.

 If you do not know what that amount is, then get the repair manual.  It will have all of that as well as other specs for you to reference.
