Motorcycle Repair: battery problems, roadstar silverado, battery check

i have a 2002 roadstar silverado. i have been having a problem with the bike not holding a charge. i replaced the battery then the voltage regulator and by time i get to work the bike is dead. it won't start again unless i jump it.

I usually only answer questions on Harleys, but I might be able to help. Start by using a volt meter and get the bike running and at the battery check the voltage. You should be running over 12.5 volts to keep the battery charged. You are probably not. Since you have replaced the battery and the voltage regulator then the only other part is the stator or altenator( I dont know whick one you have)
