Motorcycle Repair: severe oil leak, crank case, leak oil

Question
Oil is leaking from seal where countershaft of the transmission comes out of crank case and attaches to the sprocket that moves the chain. I replaced the seal but when I run the motorcycle it starts leaking very heavily again. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

Hi Dawud.

It sounds like you either have the seal in wrong (this means another new seal), the wrong seal is in there, there is another bad seal between there and the oil supply which or the shaft is worn (which is unlikely).

Start with those and let me know what you find.
