Motorcycle Repair: Ripped off in ND, harley shop, rear fender

Question
I have a 1998 Buell S1W with a bad leak.  I know it's not a Harley but hopefully you can help me. If not sorry for wasting your time.   It is a Harley 1200 engine with modified heads! Even though my local HD dealership won't admit it.  They will not even sell me an oil filter.  I had the bike rebuilt 1200 miles ago and soon after the rebuild I noticed it was spraying oil out on the rear tire, belt,& sprocket.  I'm am not sure if this is engine oil, transmission oil or what.  I have brought the bike back to the same shop that did the rebuild three times.  They have not been able to fix the problem.  I am not trying to discredit this shop, but I don't know if they can fix it.  I have nearly half the bikes value in repairs with no end to the oil leak.  I have traced the leak to a hose that is comming off the top side of the transmission.  The hose runs over the battery, under the rear fender then is cut off just above the rear tire.  Is this a breather hose for the tranny? The mechanic at the construction company I work for thought it was and rerouted the hose up the rear frame.  This did not solve the problem it just made the leak  make a mess of my rear fender instead of the wheel.  Any help would be very much appreciated.

Answer
I am surprised that the Harley shop wont help you , since Harley is part owner of the Buell company and supplies motors to them!
Your primary and trans share the same oil and if its over filled it can appear as a leak. So first, make sure it is not overfilled. If that is ok, then you need to make sure where the oil is coming from and if its motor oil or trans oil. You can do this by cleaning the bike and letting it dry. Get some spray deoderant with baby powder in it and spray all over the area where you think the oil is coming from. Start the bike and let it run and the leak will appear as black in the baby powder. When you find the leak, shop the shop where it is leaking. Let me know what you find
Good luck and happy riding
