How many miles usualy has a harley traveled before technical difficulties begin to occur .. roughly, in your experience?

AnswerA harley, like any other vechile, breaks down at ramdom. I hae see bikes go for 50,000-70,000 miles before haveing anything done to them. i have see bikes with as few as 5000 miles need repair. So its hard to say. There was a guy a few years ago who rode 100,000 miles without any problems.
The cost for a used harley, just like a car depends on the year, model and miles. You can look up bikes on kellys blue book on the web and get general prices.
milage, again, depends ont he model as well as riding habits. I ride a dresser and when I ride alone, I get around 35 miles to the gallon.
