Motorcycle Repair: Exhuast Fuel Leak 72 Yam CS5, oil injection system, exhaust pipes

Question
I have a 1972 Yamaha CS5 (sometimes referred to as CS5e or YCS5) 200cc Twin Two Stroke.  The color is purple and white (I can send pics if you'd like).  I am 21 years of age and trying to restore this bike to its original condition because it is the same model bike my dad bought brand new when he was 17.  I just think it's a cool idea to have the same bike as my dad.  Here's the problem.  The bike starts on the first or second kick and runs great, but the exhaust pipes both leak unburned fuel.  It smells like fuel, but is an oil (black) color as it mixes with the sludge in the pipes.  I don't think it is a problem with the carbs because they have just been cleaned and set to the appropriate settings.  I should also mention that this is a reedless system, so there are no reeds to be cracked or chipped.  I should also mention that this is an oil injection system, meaning there is a separate oil tank that is fed to the cylinders via an oil pump.  I use 92 or 93 octane fuel in the tank, and the air filters are new.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions.  Thanks.  Dave

Answer
Dave, There is and adjuster on the oil injection pump!! You will need to adjust it?? Also you don't use the same 2-stroke oil in this engine as a mix engine would use?? Most mix engines use a 20 to 1 ratio,This engine uses a injection oil and a higher mix ratio maybe around 40 to 1. Good luck? Hope this helps! Try me again. Glen
