Motorcycle Repair: Trouble shooting, suzuki katana 750, rev limiter

I am having trouble with my 2004 Suzuki Katana 750 when it gets up around 7500 RPMs it starts to stutter like it hit the rev limiter.  It has only done this for the last two days.  in first gear however it has no stutter.  Any ideas as to what is wrong. Please Help.    willjgower@hotmail.com

I cannot diagnose the problem with the information provided. I would need to know more details and perform several checks to accurately diagnose the problem.
