Motorcycle Repair: repair, honda cb 450, cb350f


Question
I have a 1973 honda cb 450 thats acting weird it fires up and idles fine but when you take it down the road its like its not getting enough gas or it gets to hot then it wants to die to keep it running i have to give it full throttle and it just sits there on a low idle and if i let of the throttle it will just die maybe u could help me out and give me a solution thanx

Hi Josh,

I suspect tuning and/or cleaning carburetors will fix the performance problem.

I recommend having a local tech inspect the problem for you.
