Motorcycle Repair: training, motorcycle mechanics institute, harley school

Question
I have owned a landscape buissness for a while now and do all of my own maintence and repairs. I am now over the heat/employee trouble and being a motorcycle rider have started to consider going into motorcycle mechanics. Is it helpful to recieve training from a school? Is there a particular school that is more comprehensive then others (harley, bmw, racing motors, etc.)? With my current experience with Kawasaki motors up 25hp would an internship serve me better? I have looked around on the net and only come up with a bunch of adds and very little info on the few programs I did find. Any info or directions you could point me toward would be very helpful. Thanks

Answer
Motorcycle Mechanics institute is a good school to go to, but it lasts a little over a year. It goes over all current brands of motorcycles.
Looking for a internship might be hard. Most shops are looking for experienced mechs. You might try cheching around however and may find somone that will take you on. If you get a job at a harley Dealership then you can go to Harley School.
Good luck and happy riding
