2005 road glide fuel injected.I want to drill the baffles out to make my bike a little louder.Should I drill both ends and then punch the baffle out.How should I do this? Will I need to make any adjustments to my fuel injection. What size hole should I drill.thanks...clint
Answer -
Its not a good idea to drill out hte baffles on a fuel injected bike. You will be changing the back pressure on the exhaust, you dont know how much you are losing and it will make you lose power. You need to get a set of muffles that are more free flowing to get the sound you are looking for. Once you do this you will have to have the CPU remapped or you will run to lean.

Answer
There is no way to determine how much power you will lose unless you run the bike on a dyno. It is going to depend on how many holes and how big. Like I said before, your bike came from the factory a little lean to pass EPA standards and drilling holes in the muffles will make it leaner. The leaner running the bike is the hotter it runs and more chances of pinging under a load, which is bad.
