Motorcycle Repair: Aprilia 125, check fuse, safety switches

hi mark,
my aprilia 125 year 1999 is weird this few month. After i ride it for 10km ++ or even rest it for a day, when i switch my key to on, there is no electricity at all. At first i though the connection to the battery is open but when i check it is not. When i push start the bike, the electricity will just come back and work as normal. This problem is on and off, sometime it happen only once a week. What exactly happen to my bike? Thanks

Hi James,

Check for a loose battery connection, loose wire connection, loose ground connection, etc...

Check fuse box for any defects, signs of heat damage, etc...

Check ignition and safety switches, loose connection with these, etc...
