Answer
Hi Anthony,

Get a copy of the service manual and follow electrical troubleshooting procedures.

Visit "www.electrexusa.com" and follow their Troubleshooting Chart. I recommend Electrex USA's high quality electrical parts over OEM parts.

Follow battery leads to and from the battery. Check all battery cable ends for clean, tight connections.

Check electrical connectors. All should be clean and tightly connected.

Remove the battery and check electrolyte levels. Check battery voltage with a multimeter (VOM). Check specific gravity of each cell with a hydrometer designed for MC battery use. Service, charge, or replace the battery as necessary.

Test the regulator-rectifier with a multimeter.

Perform an output test of the alternator.

I return test and repair information files by email. There was no email address with question as requested.

Respectfully,
