Motorcycle Repair: 95 ZX7 gas tank, fuel leaks, zx7

Hi.  I have a 1995 zx7.  My friend sat on the tank when it was parked.  Now when I'm done riding, fuel leaks out of the overflow, unless I open the cap to stop the pressure.  I plugged the overflow hose to see what would happen, and fuel came out through the gas cap.  It does this whenever there's at least 1/2 tank.  Right now, I just open the cap when I'm done riding.  Any advice to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds as if you know there's a ventilation problem. Just have to find the cause and repair.

Check fuel tank for vetilation obstructions. Inspect the tank cap for defects and obstructions. Inspect the cap seat for same.
