Motorcycle Repair: seat exchange plausibility, cobra website, bill silver

I know this isn't your preferred area of expertise but, after consulting my local Honda dealer, who turned out to be useless, I decided to try the experts.

My simple question: will a stock solo seat from a '99 Shadow 750 fit a '95 Shadow 1100?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

John, you can try to compare them on the microfiches offered at http://www.powersportspro.com/partsfish/login.asp at least to check the mounting points. They did make some changeover in the styles during the production years...

Also check with an aftermarket maker of seats, as they can tell you what they offer and the differences between the two models and how they mount.

Try Cobra website for seats or search for solo seats and HONDA in the search function.  

Not really my strong points as I am more vintage bike oriented....
