Motorcycle Repair: Starter issues, solinoid, solinoids

I have a 1982 FXWG.  The solinoid is hanging up keeping the starter engaged.  It does not do it every time.  Sometimes you can tap the solinoid and the starter will quit but then restart after a short period of time without ever hitting the starter button.  I have replaced the starter the solinoid x4 and the starter relay x3.  All of the wiring has been replaced by a local shop that I have used many times and has a good rep.  They are at a loss and so am I. Overall the bike is in excelent condition and has been completly re-built in the last 3 years.  Battery and cables are new and in good condition.  Of the 4 solinoids 3 have been Accel and the other was a known good solinoid off my other bike.  Same with the starter and relay both work fine in my other bike.   Any advice would be very helpfull.  Thanks Mike

Yes I have installed a new spring.

Sounds like you have all the bases covered. Recheck the grounding point of the battery and make sure it has good contact. You say you installed a new spring, but I would install another and before putting it in stretch it out a little. Since you have changed everything else that all it can be.
