Motorcycle Repair: V.I.N plate taken off., stroke cycle engines, yamaha tz

Dear mark,
        I recently had my old RGV 250 stolen, the good news is that the police found it three days later in a bad way! The bad news is that the little git ( he was 18!) took off the VIN plate. Do you know how I can get a new one fitted. Many thanks .

The RGV is pretty cool!

I grew up on RG500's and Yamaha TZ's until two stroke-cycle engines were banned in the USA for street use.

About the VIN... I don't know what you can do to restore the plate. You won't get anything from the factory or a dealership. I think you're stuck as is. The fruit of being a victim of a crime.

Did the perp get probation? : )
