Motorcycle Repair: 2002 883, brake light switch, bleeding brakes

rear brake light works when i press hard on foot pedal.when i press soft will not work. tried bleeding brakes.made no difference.also took cover off to adjust clutch cable and when i did oil came out, need to know if thats part of the oil lube system or is that seperate clutch oil. appreciate your time and reply, thank you.

On the oil. The trans and clutch use the same oil. Its called sportstrans oil.
As to the brake light, you probably have a weak brake light switch and it needs to be replaced. It is run by the pressure from the brake fluid and is probably not moving as low pressure.
