Motorcycle Repair: 1993 Sportster 1200, sportster 1200, amp breaker

Question
Hi Mike.  I've asked you questions before.  I have a 1993 sportster 1200 and I have two questions.  We disassembled the bike and we are now putting it back together.  Two items were not labelled or I misplaced the notes on them.  There is a hose that comes out of the top of the transmission near the motor mount.  I do not remember where this hose connects to.  All other oil lines to oil tank are connected properly.  Do you know where this hose connects to?

Second question.  We are putting an aftermarket rear fender on which is a composite not metal.  There are four relays(?) on the metal fender that I have to remount on the new fender.  Off of one relay is a single red wire with a eyelet fitting on it.  Does this mount to a ground?  Or where does this mount?

Thanks for your help.

Mike

Answer
The hose you are refering to is the vent for the trans. It shouldnt connect to anything.
On the wire. There should be two red wires. One comes from the battery to the 30 amp breaker and one from the 30 amp breaker to the ignition switch.

Good luck and happy riding
Mike
