Motorcycle Repair: 86 nighthawk cb700, 1986 honda nighthawk, throttle cable

hi, i cant seem to find anything on my bike without a whole lot of searching and hassle and ordering from a place 100 mils from me. i need a throttle cable for my 1986 honda nighthawk cb700. do you have any advice on where i could try for aftermarket parts for this bike. and why is it so hard to find/get parts for it? why do people say there isnt any aftermarket parts for it? like as if it was a rare limited edition or something. can you please give me some feedback. thank you.

I only work on harleys, so I dont really know where to get parts for your bike.
I can tell you that the problem you are having finding parts is because your bike is almost 20 years old. Sometimes they only use certain parts for a couple of years and then change them, so finding the parts you need is rough. Harley made a couple of models that were unique and only for one year, so getting parts for them is a bear.
