Motorcycle Repair: is my engine seized?, honda 125, cylinder fuel

Question
I recently bought an old 1967 honda ca160.  This is my first time working on a bike.  When I purchased it the kick starter turned over the engine fine, however when I got home the kickstarter was stuck.  So I put the bike in gear, pushed it, and then the kick starter would work, but only for one try, then it would freeze up again.  The alternator turns (like 300 degrees) and then stops at the same point always. And when I put the bike in gear I can turn the rear wheel to that point on the alternator.  So at first I thought it was some gears involved with the kick starter, but now im thinking its the engine.
What do you think?
Also I purchased the manual for Honda 125 - 200cc twins. But I would like something more specific for my bike.  Is there anything available?  I've searched and come up with nothing.  Would I get any usefull information from the manual that came with the bike?  I have seen them online, but if they are like car manuals, telling you how to operate your headlights then I would rather spend that 30 dollars on something else.
Thank you soo much for offering this service!

Answer
Hi Cheryl,

I recommend buying the "Serive/Repair Manual" to help you. The manual provides illustrated images on most all repairs along with specifications, and more.

The "Owner's Manual" will describe how to operate the MC.

There may be websites dedicated to the Honda CA160 which have a tech page.

About the problem...

I suspect the camshafts may be out of time with the crankshaft and causing valves to contact pistons, stopping the engine from rotating.

Other possibilities include: hydro-locked cylinder (fuel in cylinder), and damaged or defective piston or other engine parts.

Remove the spark plugs and try rotating the engine. The problem should be easier to troubleshoot without having to overcome cylinder compression.
