Motorcycle Repair: overheating, flow control valve, hg vacuum

Question
i have a triumph 900 water cooled engine i changed the stat and the fan switch and it still overheats can you help please

Answer
Hi Kev,

I suspect air is in the cooling system. Usual cause for such complaint as described. I use the Mityvac "AirEvac" tool when servicing cooling systems. It's a must.

See the tool at J.C. Whitney "www.jcw.com" You can buy the tool for about $89 on line if you shop prices. try renting from the local car parts stores.

Respectfully,
