Motorcycle Repair: 1988 FLSTC, flstc, bolts

How tuff is it to replace a starter for this subject Bike?

Its not that tough. Remove the battery. There are Two bolts running through the starter. Undo them but dont remove them. You should find some brackets holding the starter in. Remove them also. remove the cable to the battery and slide the starter out. Be careful when pulling it out. The two bolts you removed hold the stater together.
